Effects
This formula contains ingredients that are necessary for healthy bones.
Calcium is no longer considered a key element for healthy bones. Unfortunately, current nutritional formulas do not often include other nutrients which the body needs for healthy bone formation and maintenance. With the presence of these other nutrients, the need for calcium is significantly reduced.
Magnesium is necessary for calcium and vitamin D metabolism. When there is a magnesium deficiency, calcium will not attach itself to the bones.
Red clover isoflavones have been shown to be effective in improving bone density and increasing bone strength.
They have also been used to minimize menopause symptoms in Australian hospitals for many years.
Horsetail is the most concentrated source of silica, which is the most abundant dietary element found in nature and is necessary for collagen production. It promotes healthy bones, skin, hair, nails, tendons and cartilage.
Recent studies have shown that vitamin K2 is essential for preventing cardiovascular disease and promotes a healthy brain, bones and skin.
Boron is a dietary element that plays a key role in bone health.
Vitamin D3 is necessary for the absorption and metabolism of calcium. The amount used in this formula is sufficient to yield positive effects without creating the risk of toxicity or interference with a medical prescription of vitamin D.
Zinc is one of the coenzymes required for alkaline phosphatase, which is necessary for bone formation.
Finally, manganese influences the activity of osteoblasts and osteoclasts, making it essential to bone formation.
Indications
Prevention or treatment of osteopenia or osteoporosis.
