Researchers at the University of Texas in Dallas found that sugar stimulated one type of lung cancer, the squamous cell carcinoma. Unfortunately, this type of cancer accounts for 25-30% of all lung cancers.
The researchers mentioned in the previous blog also found that sugar consumption stimulates squamous cell cancer in the neck, the head, the esophagus and the cervix as well as the lungs.
